Character Dining Experience

Book a lunch or dinner with the Sesame characters. It’s a great way to get your little ones up close to favorites like Elmo and Big Bird while getting in a meal and avoiding the long lines for a photo op. There are lots of options including Breakfast with Cookie Monster & Abby Cadabby, Lunch with Elmo & Friends, and Big Bird’s Backyard BBQ Dinner.

Park Map

It’s super easy to get around Sesame Place, whether you’re pushing a stroller or chasing after enthusiastic tykes! The main “street” is also the route for the parade, and rides and attractions are found all along the way, from Big Bird’s Balloon Race near the entrance to The Count’s Splash Castle at the end. Before you go, check out the Park Map online.

  • What should we wear, and are there wet rides?

Sesame Place water rides open in April, so it’s a great idea to bring bathing suits, towels, and a change of clothes. Wet rides include Bert & Ernie’s Slip & Slide, Bird Bird’s Rambling River tube ride, The Count’s Splash Castle, Ernie’s Waterworks for the wee ones, Sesame Streak, Sky Splash for a party of 8, Slimey’s Chutes, Slippery Slopes, and Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave.
  • What is dining like, and can I pack a lunch?

There are several dining choices in Sesame Place with kid-friendly fare like pizza, fries, and mac-n-cheese. If you have any food allergy issues, there are special menus. Visitors are allowed to bring a soft-sided cooler for baby food and medicine into the park no larger than 12”x12”x10”. If you pack a lunch, there are two picnic areas right outside the park-one in the Preferred Parking Lot and one in the General Parking Lot.
