Whether you have a hankering for some historical knowledge or you're a fan of the sights and sounds of Philadelphia, the Historic District has something for you. A few of the must-see attractions include Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Franklin Square, The Betsy Ross House, and Elfreth's Alley. Of course, you cannot miss the most iconic symbol in American history, The Liberty Bell.
Once in the Historic District, you will be able to find plenty of parking options. The most convenient parking garage is located directly underneath the Independence Visitor Center. Others include the National Constitution Center Parking at 6th & Race Streets and EZ Park at 9th & Race Streets. If you choose to use on-street parking, be sure to carefully read the rules on signs for the designated time frame and the maximum time you can park.
